Renee Walsh AcupunctureRenee Walsh, LAc

Renee is a Licensed Acupuncturist and practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine. She received her master’s degree from the Seattle Institute of Oriental Medicine in Seattle, Washington and is trained in traditional Chinese acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese nutritional therapy, Auricular (ear) acupuncture, and Tui Na (Chinese medical massage).

Originally from Noblesville, IN, Renee has traveled the globe gaining knowledge of the natural world and physical medicine. She has found personal health in nature through backpacking and hiking all over the country, including through-hiking trails such as the Appalachian Trail in the east and the John-Muir trail in the west. She also studied and practiced massage therapy for 15 years before becoming an acupuncturist.

A trip to China and Tibet in 2006 studying the medical system and visiting numerous traditional Chinese medical clinics and hospitals solidified her choice to become an acupuncturist. Bridging the link between the external and internal environments, Chinese medicine seeks to balance the natural forces of the body, and has allowed her to combine her love of nature with her love of medicine. Currently, she lives in Fortville IN, with her husband, two sons and border collie.
